$1,940.00

The ultimate Tibetan grand loop. Designed for adventurers who want to experience the absolute full spectrum of the Himalayas, this epic expedition connects Tibet’s holiest spiritual sanctuaries, the world’s highest peak, the lost civilizations of the far west, and the wild, untamed northern grasslands.

Your journey begins in Lhasa, where you will acclimate while exploring iconic landmarks like the Potala Palace and join pilgrims on the bustling Barkhor Circuit. From there, you will journey through central Tibet to stand before the monumental North Face of Mount Everest, before pushing deep into the rugged wilderness of the Ngari Plateau.

In Western Tibet, you will take part in the transformative 3-day trek (Kora) around sacred Mount Kailash and walk the tranquil shores of Lake Mansarovar. Pushing even further west, you will leave the standard tourist trails behind to explore the dramatic, eroded landscapes of the Zanda Earth Forest and the hauntingly beautiful, 1,000-year-old ruins of the Guge Kingdom—one of the world’s greatest archaeological mysteries.

Unlike standard out-and-back itineraries, this tour avoids backtracking by returning via the northern route. You will cross the pristine Changtang plateau, driving past Serling Tso (Tibet’s largest lake) and catching the reflection of the Nyenchen Tanglha mountains in the sacred waters of Namtso Lake before completing your grand loop back in Lhasa.
